Hotel Derby Exclusive

We stayed at Hotel Derby for a week in June and it was absolutely wonderful! The owners and staff clearly want to please the guests. Even though we could not speak Italian (we did try), we were greeted with warm smiles and a staff that went out of the way for our every request. My daughter got a little cut while playing outside and they ran to get her band-aides and anti-bacterial ointment. Every day we were amazed by the range of foods that were served daily (dozens of options) and the desserts were spectacular. We travel the world and have lived in Europe for a few years and this has become one of our favorite destinations. We will be back year after year!

I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere and had such a good time. My family and I, two adults and two girls aged 3 and 4 had the most relaxing holiday ever at Derby. Beautiful hotel, comfortable and spotless rooms. Excellent location, close to the sea and the center of MiMa. Exquisite food, a vast choice of every good thing. Nothing was ever missing. And what further made the difference were the owners who were always present and the staff who were always friendly and available. In particular thanks to Celina who spoiled and pampered us throughout the holiday with her attention during all meals. Thanks to Mario, Edoardo, Ippolito and Francesco: all wonderful. The Derby Exclusive hotel is a guarantee.

The room was very very small, but clean and equipped. The proximity to the beach was great, the pool was clean and the whirlpool was very warm... There was hardly anything going on at that time of year... But that wasn't a big deal. The only thing I have to say about the food is that I didn't I think it's good that you can't take something from the buffet yourself and that the employees serve you. It was very difficult because of the language and slightly unpleasant to be served like that. But all in all we felt comfortable!

My husband, my 4 year old daughter and I stayed at the Derby Esclusive hotel from 22 to 24 April on a bed & breakfast basis. Beautiful and very clean structure, very helpful staff, spacious rooms with comfortable external loggia where it is possible to create an isolated space from the bedroom. The beds were very uncomfortable in my opinion, as they were too hard. We only stayed two days, I doubt my back would have lasted a week. Good breakfast with buffet served. For me, who has celiac disease, I found a box of gluten-free packaged products every day. Although it is not an AIC hotel, being a 4 star, as a point of improvement I would say that it would have been nice to also find something homemade. Too bad that the cold weather did not allow the use of the swimming pools which were not heated, as reported in the offer. When we were there there were no bikes equipped with child seats, or rather those that were there were not suitable for children of my daughter's age.
